My mani/pedi experience was very disappointing, particularly given how expensive everything was. Also, my gel mani and spa pedicure took almost 3 hours! Their pedicure setup is nice, but the paint job was a little sloppy and the thickness of the polish was super uneven. I also didn't like how the technician cut my nails super low on the side and made the weirdly rounded (even though my nails were squared off when I came in). I'm concerned about this causing ingrown toenails (which I've had to have surgically fixed in the past). It took her FOREVER to take off my old gel polish and to put the new polish on. It was way too thin of coats and chipped within days, which is ridiculous for a gel manicure. The color combo we discussed was nothing like what she ultimately put on my nails. I repeatedly expressed concerns that the color wasn't what I was looking for and she kept telling me it would look fine in the end. It doesn't. It looks stupid. Also, she did a really bad job on my cuticles, which are a total mess only a week later. I also expected a $42 manicure to at least involve a quirt of hand lotion. She literally only touched my nails. There was no hand massage or even lotion afterward. I've had better mani/pedis at literally every cheap nail place I've tried in Buffalo. Don't waste your time and money with Chez Ann.
