I did not have a good experience here, I'm sorry to say. I expected someone in Phase 2 of their training to at the very least appear to know what they were to do and behave professionally. Instead, the student who did my hair appeared very frazzled for the entire appointment, which took four hours to bleach a routine amount of regrowth. He continually forgot what he was doing, or would begin to do something only to say he forgot to do something first and would backtrack to do that instead. Sectioning my hair alone took 27 minutes. 27 minutes?! I did not have four hours of time to spend there, nor should it have taken that long. I have never had an appointment take so long in 10 years of having bleached hair. Even asking the teacher to fix it, which barely helped any, and telling him myself no less than 5 times what spots were clearly missed or not matching, I still left with hair I am unhappy with and need to have fixed. I have had my hair done by students before at this same school and it went well, but this time was disappointing. Instead of relaxing and knowing my hair would come out nice, I was anxious and uncomfortable and could not wait for my hair to process so that I could leave. I did not even let him dry and style my hair afterwards. I know everyone has to learn their profession and that's the point of these schools, but basic skills were monumentally lacking throughout my experience.
