Brought vehicle in for routine maintenance. (this is our family vehicle, and only means of transportation)
They found a leak, and said it would be a 9 hour repair job. This phone call was at 9:00am on a Friday morning. So by close of Saturday, they will have had my vehicle 15 work-hours. They said "the chances of finishing my vehicle by Saturday were slim, but by Monday for SURE they would have it ready." By the end of the work day on Monday, I called at 4pm to come pick it up, (by now they have had the vehicle 25 work-hours) they said "they haven't started it yet, and it's a long job that would take 9 hours" .... I told them they have had it 25 man-hours now, so there should be no excuse, the man on the phone continued to debate with me how long they've had it, and how they are just to busy to get to it right now. WHAT??? You're telling me this after holding our vehicle hostage for 3 days?? AFTER telling me "FOR SURE BY MONDAY."
They then called back just before close on Monday, to apologize and tell me it will be done by the end of the day on Tuesday. (which would make it 35 man-hours with the vehicle)
We were highly inconvenienced finding rides to work, and rides to school for our child. Day after day. Then told we haven't started yet, it's going to be longer. Highly unprofessional, highly unethical. I wish we would have given
someone else our business. A company that would've treated us more ethically, and appreciated our business.
