I should have charged $30 per minute that I have to sit in the waiting room one day it was 35 minutes but let me cancel an appointment in less than 24 hours and I get hit for a $60 bill where is that right they tell you you sign these papers but no one explains it to you until it happens surprise surprise surprise American Dental Solutions we getting my bill for having me wait in their office when my appointment was at 4 and I got in at 4:45 all I got was an apology I cancel appointment because of a loved one's illness and I get charged for $60 even though I gave them 5 hours notice not good enough for them

American Dental Association charges you $30 per half hour if you don't call them within 24 hours how do you know if you're supposed to call people within 24 hours if something unexpected comes up they say you signed it and that makes it legal I say it's false advertisement they don't tell you this until it happens I have a family member that is very ill and I had to cancel appointment today and I was told that I would be charged $29 per half hour that is b******* it's not fair to people that have lives I called at noon that gives them 5 hours to notify somebody how about if I started charging you for letting me sit in your waiting room $100 every for every minute that my appointment is held up but all we get is a we're so sorry this is wrong it's not right and you people are wrong and not rightOK&

Had to cancel an appointment because i had a virus. Was informed that due to policy i would still be charged . I told them they should do what they think is best to keep my business.

Thank you for bringing your concern to our attention. We apologize for the frustration. Our cancelation policy is this:

We require 24 hour notice when canceling or rescheduling an appointment. We understand that items come up like illnesses or conflicts in your schedule. We do not charge for the first missed appointment in a 12 month rolling year. If a patient cancels or reschedules without 24 hour notice a 2nd time, our policy does apply a $29 fee per half hour. Although there are plenty of people who rarely run into this issue, we must have a policy in place as the staff is there to service our patients regardless of the patient showing for their visit or not. We typically have wait times for preferred appointment time slots and without this notice, it makes it extremely difficult for us to reach out and secure a patient for this slot.

This policy is explained to our patients in our New Patient paperwork when all patients start with out practice. I have been a patient for several years my experience with the Rohrerstown road office was great until they left me a message informing me they were changing hours and would not be in the office during my appointment time and they needed to reschedule. Life prevented my rescheduling for several months. When I called to schedule my appointment I asked the male on the phone when they were in the Rohrerstown office he answered sarcastically pretty much all the time. I said my insurance had changed and I would bring the card to the appointment. He said that he would make the appointment but I would need to call back with the information on the card. Then the first available teeth cleaning was two months away. My complaint is he was rude. It’s not what you say it’s how you say it. He carried on like he was doing me a favor. If the next available for a cleaning is two months away and they are pretty much there all the time maybe they have become to big to be customer service oriented and if I have to get through the front office to get to the friendly clinical staff it was time I found another dentist.

The staff was very friendly and comforting but I don’t appreciate when I woke up being rushed out the door when I was sick from anesthesia and still very loopy. Also they never told me if I have stitches in my mouth or not.
