My dog has been struggling with skin issues for the past few years. His outbreaks were increasing with severity and I did not know what to do. I called over a dozen vets in the area looking for support and the Animal Hospital of Ivy Square were extremely helpful, kind, patient and fair. I made an appointment to get him groomed and have an exam. When I walked into the office I was greeted with great kindness.
My dog is anxious and has behavioral issues . I was worried about how he would do in a new office and how the vet and techs would respond to him. When I picked my dog up he was in great spirits and did not seem anxious. The woman who cut his hair was fantastic. She told me that she listened to my dog's body language and was very compassionate about his anxiety. I was very happy to learn that she had "listened" to my dog and ultimately respected him. When I brought him home he was content. It meant the world to me to know that he had been loved, respected and tended to- even understood! The veterinarian that I spoke with about my dog's skin issue was thorough, patient, helpful and spent the time to go over and explain the various treatment options for my dog's allergies in detail. I was very grateful for the staffs positive attitude and their affection for my dog! I found a new vet!!!
