Very disappointed, had a schedule consultation to discuss a serious issue. Had a nurse practitioner who discussed my situation and told me all about my results if I was Irish, black or Indian. Told me that my surgery would probably be a 60percent failure if they would do it..... then proceeded to tell me she would tell the dr. What she saw and we should call to make another appointment. My husband then told her we scheduled to see the dr. And are not paying for a visit for her to tell us nothing....we asked to see the dr. And he wasn’t available.... If this is considered a consultation I recommend no one to schedule one and be charged for it. The waiting room was dirty, chairs with stains.. not to mention the exam room with dirty towels and garbage sticking out from under the exam chair. .....and this is not acceptable where the are examining patients. The Nurse practitioner asked to see my area and began to touch and feel with no gloves or even a hand wash????? We told her we would be leaving and were not happy with the waste of our time....and all we got was a.sarcastic “have a nice day”. Never got to see the dr. So can not comment on his/her service....but the staff says all....
I was impressed with the amount of time the Vet Tech and Vet took to listen, answer questions, discuss options. They were very gentle and attentive to Hemingway, and gave him extra treats, which was nice b/c I forgot treats in my rush to leave and I want him to have good experiences at the vet. I have been to other businesses where the veterinarians seem short with time and Dr. Jen is one of the few who when I leave the office I don't lament on all the things I wanted to ask, but didn't get a chance to. From the front office staff, to the Vet Tech, to the Vet I find that everyone is kind and attentive. I appreciate both office staff, as they combined the stool sample fee, from prior to the appt, and the neuter fee, for the next appt, into one lump sum so I can use the CareCredit promotion. I went to Animal Medical Center years ago, and was happy that when I moved back to Appleton that I'd have access to this facility again. They are stellar and I appreciate all their work. They really care about our furry loved ones.
My wife and I moved back to the area somewhat recently and I was very concerned about finding an independent shop owner where I could feel good about their work and advice. Luckily my son told me that Zentner's had a great reputation and after being there I have found out for myself that they give me a straight and honest answer, great advice, opinions that make perfect sense, and I know they are not trying to go beyond what is needed for repairs. Dave Zentner treats me like I believe he would treat his own father, and I that's why I will continue to go back not only for my vehicles but my extended familiy's as well. You won't be disappointed of that I am certain.
