I really liked my stylist on a personal level, but I came in with a haircut that I didn't like and wanting a different cut and I left with the exact same haircut (practically). Even my husband couldn't tell that I had even had it cut.
I had a been trying out a long bob and decided that it wasn't for me so I came in to get a layered cut. I'd been very specific about wanting lots of layers, having curly/wavy that I have had frame my face in a way that makes it big and voluminous and not wanting the rectangular shape it was currently in. I literally look exactly the same, except the stylist did help to shift my round bangs to a side swoop bang.
Either the stylist didn't understand what I was asking for (although I don't know how I could have been more clear-- maybe with a photo? I am very verbose so I talked a lot about it), or didn't know how to do what I was asking but that seems unlikely because it is a pretty common cut.
It's not a bad cut, it's just not what I was asking for.
