It us very upsetting to be half way thru the eye exam only to find the doctor is using another patients records; and bases on the other records treats me as if I am semi incompetent to answer questions about myself, referring them to my wife. What ever happened to standard medical practioce of verifying a patients date of birth? What jhas happened to attention to detail? I was and am still upset! while the mistake happened, the examining doctor failed to ask follow-up questions when my answers did not align with what she has on the other patient's file. Instead she assumed was was incompetent to accurately answer her questions. Failure...failure....failure!
