The office of Drs. Moser & Hudgins is a state-of-the-art optometry practice located in Raleigh, North Carolina. We offer comprehensive eye examinations, contact lenses, laser surgery consultations and a complete line of designer eyewear. Our goal is to provide patients with the best possible care by using only the latest technology to diagnose eyesight conditions and provide vision correction.
The practice was founded in 1909 by Dr. Fred B. Day, who was the very first licensed optometrist in the state of North Carolina. The practice remained a Day family business until 1998, when Dr. Frank B. Day retired. Present owners Dr. P. Wayne Moser and Dr. Donathan G. Hudgins continue the legacy that began over 100 years ago with Dr. Day's office.

I have been a patient of Dr. Hudgins since 1996 and can't imagine going to anyone else. He takes his time to answer all questions, even producing a model of the eye and explaining how each part relates to another. He wants his patients to understand why he's doing each test and then explains what the results are while you are sitting in his office. I have total confidence in Dr. Hudgins knowledge as a doctor and highly recommend him if you're looking for a quality optometrist.
The staff and Drs are friendly and eager to help. I recently visited because my insurance company wanted a receipt with certain criteria. It took some time but they gave me what the insurance company needed, because they just approved my claim. Thanks!
I've been seeing Dr. Moser for over 25 years. He is very patient with my vision concerns as I age and has always provided attentive, professional advice. He encourages me to try new approaches to improve my vision and I appreciate his efforts.
Really disappointed. I've given the school a number of attempts and been let down. The floor needs more instructors. My cut and/or color always takes HOURS longer than it should. I never come out with what I ask for even when I bring multiple pictures. The last time I went was during the power outage so I left with a wet head of hair and half my cut unfinished... No discount offered? Schedule a time to come back? I understand the prices are already low, but I pay for that difference when I sit in the chair for three hours longer than going to a licensed stylist and run the risk of having a less-than-stellar cut. I'm not the type to write a negative review, but I feel that PM The School needs to get it together. This is an instructional school on how to operate within the service industry but is not setting a good example.
The girls I've had work on my hair were all really sweet, I wish they were being given more direction and help! This review is in no way directed at the students themselves or the personalities of who I encountered - everyone was very kind!
The employees went beyond their duties to accommodate my therapy on time, will like special thanks to Jennifer that deal with the my insurance company to get the medication on time, to all thank you for your sincere help and care.
