The doctor and assistant were very amiable. Their tests were thorough and done in a timely manner. However, there was a strong sense of "upsell" throughout most of the visit. I was encouraged to have retina photos done at an extra cost and while I had clearly indicated that I declined on the paperwork, they pushed this test again...at which point I accepted. During the process of choosing new frames, the technician simply brought several pairs from the back that he thought "would look good on my face." I was not really given the option to browse on my own. If I had, I doubt I would have chosen frames as expensive as those he brought me.
Overall, while the doctor was professional and courteous, I had a sense of being rushed and not having many options when it came to choosing frames. The final cost of my visit/extra tests/frames/lenses was not outlined clearly before I checked out. I found myself paying much more in the end than what I anticipated.
