Jane is the best facial provider I have ever had! She takes ownership of problems, and always follows up with care. I have seen one other technician that was nice for facials as well, but I don't remember her name.
The best facial technician can't make up for a lackluster booking procedure however. Last week it took approximately 12 calls before someone answered. I was trying to book an appointment. I asked them if everything was OK when I called, and they said yes they were just busy. I called today and it took about six calls before someone answered the phone.
Today I asked about canceling my membership, they initially asked if I could come in to fill out the form. I asked if they could just email or fax me the cancellation form. They emailed me a form that was already filled out with someone else's home address and contact info on it. That seemed pretty unsafe and unprofessional? How many people will get my home address now that I have filled out the same form? When I called back for a new form it took her a few tries to get my a form and she didn't she said I don't understand why I can't open the form up.
The technicians seem competent, but the management (Martin) seems lackluster and a bit unprofessional. I realize this is a small business, but every time I have called to book it seems very unprofessionally managed. Mistakes happen in business, but if it is a consistent mistake that's a choice. I'm not sure if it is because of lack of staff, an inefficient phone system, or just poor management I will look elsewhere for services.
