I love that Lake Harriet is a more integrative service. That is almost the sole reason that I chose them for my pets. I do wish, though, that I could get some more real interaction as a customer there. They are labeled as integrative but I have not really gotten much of that vibe, save for the FAQ on their website and the info I have gotten in my puppy pack. I wish the vet or vet techs would talk and discuss with me a little more about nutrition and the importance thereof, or about the vaccinations my pets are receiving. Some would be glad to get in and out of the vet quickly, but, personally, I would like to have some more time spent discussing and learning, particularly in the more integrative, less traditional side of things, being as that is all I have experienced from vet practices so far in my life. I could go to any regular animal clinic that is closer to me, and markedly less expensive, but I chose Lake Harriet in the hopes of not having to listen to the monotony any longer, and to get the best possible care and knowledge for my pets.
