I was desperate for a haircut and La Luma was able to provide me with same-day service. I mentioned that I have curly hair which is difficult to style and staff member recommended Jen - I was glad that she did! Jen was friendly and professional and she cut my curly hair very well. I was apprehensive to try a new stylist but was very pleased with my experience. I will definitely be coming back next time I need a fresh cut! I also like that the salon is right next to Red Brick so I could grab coffee at my favorite place in Guelph before my appointment.

I always feel well taken care by the staff at La Luma salon, They always welcome you and take of your coat (very nice when you are tired after a long day) Ask if you would like a coffee, tea etc.. Andrew and Jen, Kathy, Olivia..Vanessa all the staff are professional,talented and really listen to meet ideas you have for your hair (wonderful support in finding the right colour for your hair too!) I love they are environmentally aware I love the quality of their hair products and have used them for many years! Thanks Andrew love my cut and highlights from my visits last night.

As soon as I walked in, there was no one there to even greet you as everyone was busy doing their own thing. I waited for a couple minutes until finally the stylist came. The entire appointment was a bit uncomfortable and the hair dresser made no attempt at keeping up a pleasant conversation.

I have been a client of La Luma since it opened. I always ask for a student because I am a senior and my hair is a bit unusual. And students need all the experience they can get. I appreciate that there is always a senior stylist available for any consultation or guidance.

I have never been disappointed in the results and indeed receive many compliments. I always mention La Luma as where the transformation happened.
