I was previously a Climate Makers customer and was very happy with Dan's service. I have called upon Dan several times in the past and his response was quick, prices reasonable, remedies provided.
With the switch to Martin Enterprises I am seeing a sharp increase in prices. Most recently I requested a simple adjustment of my air conditioner dampers , a service which took under 60 minutes, and was handed a $201 bill. Worse yet, the situation is now not any better. There was a $95 deduction made to the bill after I voiced my concern, but really feeling like prices in general are a bit lofty now with Martin.
Dan serviced my studio back in October 2016.
He converted us to a dual zoned hvac system.
It was a fairly involved service. I had to close down for an entire day and paid around 4K.
It seemed to be fine for several months, but now the air continues to flow into the rooms well below what the thermostat calls for. When set to 70, the air still pumps into my rooms cooling them to around 67 until we are forced to use the heat to remedy it.
In addition - the breakroom is consistantly hotter than the rest of the studio regardless of whether the dryer is on or not ... at least 5 degrees warmer in the break room. The latest proposal to fix that was a $1,500 in line fan.
Having Martin Enterprises continously come out and charge me extra to address an HVAC system which they initially configured just seems like adding insult to injury.
As a small business, I do not have an unending budget to allocate to HVAC. So for now we will just continue to "manage" the system by adding heat when it gets too cold.
Everyone has a different business model - and I guess you guys are doing what you must - but I personally feel like you are not standing by the product and service that you delivered to me initially back in October. So any future visits from you are just a gamble of my business funds .. with future proposals of costly remedies.
