NappStar is a trendsetting natural hair salon that specializes in eclectic natural hair styles and trendsetting loc styles. NappStar is a professional, efficient, and creative natural hair salon that strives to make all its clients the best version of themselves through their natural hair and locs. NappStar was established by Melissa & Annette Roche in Maryland, in May 2010. When they were teenagers, the two Congolese-American sisters were brought up assisting their mother at her African braid shop. Natural hair and locs have always been their specialty which is how at such a young age, they have over 30 years of combined experience. At NappStar we pride ourselves on our excellent client services, our punctuality with appointments, and our creativity in natural hair and loc maintenance and styles. We also specialize in flawless Loc Extensions that can last up to 5 years and the Pineapple Weave that is 100% flat and inflicts zero tension on the client's natural hair. Our stylists use excellent products and use healthy hair techniques that allow our clients hair to grow, grow, grow!!! Please feel free to come into one of our locations for a free consultation, and look through our style books featuring our signature styles. Thanks for the review and your input Tavish. I apologize about the mishap a the front desk, Im glad she was able to correct it. Im disappointed to read that you enjoyed the style service but will not come back due to price. We charge separate for the shampoo and blow dry service ONLY to accommodate everyones finances. Our natural Hair services are a flat rate of $50/hr, which is why the shampoo and blow dry are extra. I do agree that are prices are higher than other salons but we always strive to match it with an awesome NappStar experience. I will have my manager reach out to you personally to see what we can do to keep you as a client for Jackie!! And thanks again for the input!! -Melissa

Dr. Michael Kotlicky
Dr. Kotlicky is a great doctor. My child complained of vision difficulties for several years, but her eye doctors always said she had no vision issues. A friend heard of my child's issues once she reached high school and recommended we get evaluated by Dr. Kotlicky. He was able to immediately diagnose the issue and get us started with vision therapy. My child completed vision therapy 18 months ago and she recently had a check up. All the improvements she gained during vision therapy remain and she is doing great! Completing schoolwork is so much faster and easier for her after she completed vision therapy. Dr. Kotlicky really cares about his patients, he explains everything very well, and he gives you plenty of time to ask questions during visits. I would recommend Dr. Kotlicky to anyone who has concerns about their child's vision that "regular" eye doctors are unable diagnose or treat.Read More …
