I would rate Nick's Plumbing very highly. Alberto got to my house the day after I called (this was about 10 days after Hurricaine Harvey arrived) and promptly fixed the leak. He also pointed out some other problems with the plumbing.

Nick's (the receptionist) was quick to schedule our plumbing problem and easily accommodated a specific time request from us. Mike Hauser was on-time, very professional, efficient and informative as to what the problem was. Great job overall considering the current state of the city.

Timely according to schedule, polite and look professional, fixed the problem but appears somewhat high in pricing.

My backyard has had flooding problems in the past. In preparation of Harvey I called Richard Saad with Nicks Plumbing. Within a day he had Leo, one his plumbers over to install a pump into one of my drains. Leo was compassionate , kind and did not leave the job until he was certain the pump was working effeciently. Between the pump and sandbags placed behind back of my house, I survived Harvey with minimal water dance. I highly recommend Nicks for any of your plumbing needs. Dependable, prompt and professional.

I was surprised at the cost of the service. The toilet had been stopped up and I had tried to unstop the toilet by using a plunger with no success. Then I called Nicks's Plumbing, referenced in the Heights/Midtown Best Pick Reports, 2017 Annual Edition.

The whole service call probably took about 10 minutes at the most and the service technician unstopped the toilet with a auger/plunger. Total cost was $225.00. I did expect to pay a reasonable house call charge but I thought that was rather excessive for just unstopping toilet with a plunger. Apparently I didn't try hard enough to unstop toilet. Anyway, the technician, David Guerra was nice enough but I just thought for the time and amount of work the charge was to much. I'll think twice on a next time.
