I've been to this salon a few times, and each time my experience has just been 'okay'. This time I had Chelsea. She sat me down in her chair and the first thing I noticed was how badly her hands smelled like cigarettes while she was touching my hair. This was a big turn off and not a very good first impression. Throughout the service, she seemed to stumble over her words while explaining the products and she seemed a little confused. I had a feeling she was new and sure enough, looking at the Facebook page I see she was just hired 3 weeks ago. While washing out my color, there was some confusion with toner. I heard her ask the stylist next to her about toner and the stylist told her that she always tones before shampooing, which my stylist had already done. So my hair didn't get toned, which ended up being fine, but after hearing this conversation, I was a little worried how my hair would turn out and if my stylist knew what she was doing. Leaving the salon, my hair color doesn't look much different than when I walked in. My hair looks fine, but I wish I would've had a more experienced stylist who knew more about the products she was using and that my hair had a more noticeable difference, considering I told her I wanted to make sure you could see the highlights.
