I really loved the doctors and staff that I met at my appointment and appreciated how patient and thorough Dr. Sheryl was during my examination. I also loved that I had the option to not get my eyes dilated but was still able to be thoroughly examined. However, I had a terrible experience when picking out frames. Frankly, the woman that helped me (Twee, I believe) was talking about random things (ex: a dress with multiple colors by a river, that I should belt my dress, and that I was too young to be a lawyer). She never once asked me what I had in mind or any preferences I may've had but handed me pair of glasses after pair of glasses. I felt incredibly overwhelmed and was unsure doubted that I would end up with what I needed. Eventually, I tried on a pair of Tom Ford frames and, though I said they felt big on my face, she kept telling me that they fit my face and round face shape. I went home and looked them up because they seemed very expensive and found that I had been changed $39 more (for the frames alone) than the full cost to buy directly from the Tom Ford website. On top of that, I learned those frames were advertised on the Tom Ford website as mens glasses. When I called to address these issues, she avoided answering my questions regarding the price and whether they were mens glasses; instead, she repeatedly told me that "most glasses are unisex." Eventually, I had to call back and speak with Twin and Rita, who were both wonderful and nice, esp. Twin. In the end, I had to make another trip to the office to pick out another set of frames with Rita. Rita let me look at the frames with my husband and provided her opinion when helpful. She price-matched the price of the frames I selected (because they, like the other pair of Tom Ford frames, were also priced well above the full price on the Tom Ford website), and I am excited to receive my frames. Because I liked the doctor and clinic staff, I may continue to visit the clinic for my optometry needs; however, I do not think I will ever buy frames there again, given the over-priced items and my general experience.
