I decided to give this salon another try after being disappointed in the past. It's a pricey, high-end salon with nice ambience and staff, but on several occasions, my color and haircuts there have been less than perfect. It's frustrating and a major inconvenience to have to go back for a redo. I had a simple root touch-up done at my last visit recently, and the color bled in one section near the front of my head. It was noticeable in bright lighting once I left the salon, and I notified the stylist immediately. She told me it would be a whole week before she could fix it, and she was the only person who could do the redo. Really!? A whole week for her mistake? I had even tipped her $20, and I'm supposed to wait a week? I should have complained to the manager right then and there, but I didn't want to embarrass the stylist. Plus, I'm a nice person and way too busy to waste my time complaining, even though the criticism in this case is valid and justified.
I won't be returning, and I'm cancelling all future appointments I have scheduled with this stylist and salon. There are other stylists out there who know how to do hair, too!
