I bought a $970.00 set of tires at Raleigh Tire in Arlington and left there drove to a job about 125 miles and had a flat because they didn't change out the valve stems. Had to go to another tire shop in Tupelo, MS to have it repaired. The guys at Good Year in Tupelo told me they always change valve stems out even if it has an air pressure sensor on it. The next day I left to drive work in town and on the way home I had another tire go flat. I was almost home which was near the Raleigh Tire shop that I purchased them at. I went in told them this was the second flat I have had in 2 days. They said they do not change valve stems out if they have Air pressure sensor on the tires. They replaced the other 3 valve stems. I watched the guy take off the air pressure sensor which didn't take long at all. For the safety of everyone this should be mandatory on all new tire installation. This could have been a very bad situation if the tire was going flat while I was on the interstate driving 70 MPH. .
