I have been taking my 09 S5 to the local dealer since new and Redmond European was the first outside factory repair shop I've tried. I took a look at comments about the shop online and decided to give them a try. I love my S5, but hated some of my maintenance issues that came up throughout the years, as repairs have been hit or miss.
This is my second visit to the Redmond European and my first review. They are extremely transparent with issues and the resolution of them. I don't like factory shops do to the black box approach to diagnosis and repair. I like to know what the problems are with my cars, why they occur and how best to fix them. The guys here always keep me in the loop as to what's going on and how they will resolve issues.
I used to steer people away from owning Audi's due to the many service issues I've had with my car. Now that I've found Redmond European, I am rethinking my long term ownership. I used to say, "love the car, hate the maintenance", now I have a reason to love the car more.
Thank you Gordon. Really superb repair and heart warming. I want to understand what is going on with my can so we try and deal with our customer the same way. We take pictures, document things and try to communicate what a car needs in a way that people can make sense of. Glad you are not an Audi hater anymore. I'm about to get a new one myself- well a newer one...
