Doc was pleasant enough, and answered all my questions patiently. Excessive charge for Contact lens fitting not covered by insurance. $185, really, for the extra 5 minutes ! In addition to what was charged to my insurance. Quite a nice hourly wage and I was told that amount in advance but it needn’t have been so high. Once you’re there and you have the appointment it would’ve been more inconvenient to leave and look for another provider. Receptionist was nice to me, but seemed short with phone customers while I waited for my appointment.

$185 fee is for contact lens fitting and evaluation for multi focal and tonic contact lenses. The fee also is a global fee including unlimited checkups for one year including emergencies. The fitting for multi focal lenses that correct astigmatism is a specialty area of contact lenses and many times requires several office visits and the use of multiple trial lenses to ensure the proper fit and preion of your contacts. I had to call to find to find out if my replacement were ready after waiting for quite a few days. I was told they had sent me a text the day before. This was not true. I did not receive any text. I would appreciate honesty. If you made a mistake own up to it. Don't try to put the blame on the customer. I am disappointed in the service so far. All my times so far that I used your services I have had an unpleasant experience. That is three separate times so far.

My wife and I have been going to Dr. Rosenfeld for several years and have always received great eye care. He and his office staff are always pleasant, professional and caring. We wouldn't dream of going anywhere else.

I have been a patient of Dr Rosenfeld for over 30 years and never had any problems. He was always there when I needed him.
I’m a Contact Lense wearer and he has seen me religiously every 6 months and never had a problem.
