I've had a great experience in the past, however this time the technician seemed less experienced. I came in for fillers (which I've been getting for a few years) and in this instance, one side was overfilled- the edges of the filler were not gradual (hard lines showing the product). From massaging, I had bruising for the first time ever doing this procedure. Also first time that the placement looked very unnatural; too high under my eyes, looking cartoonish. I came back the following day for bruising treatment and a more experienced technician was able to massage a more natural line of the product. Their support was excellent -- however, I would do more research into which technician I'm seen by for a future appointment. It's much more stressful when it's my face -- something I can't cover up if something goes wrong.

After getting referred to Epi Center MedSpa by my Dermatologist, I was very excited to finally start laser hair removal! When I called to schedule my appointment I was told my appointment was at 11:30 but to arrive a few minutes early to fill out some new patient paperwork. I arrived a little after 11:00 filled out the paperwork, was told to go put on a robe and was handed a little jar, not until I asked what was in the jar did the girl tell me it was numbing cream, but that was all she said. So when the PA was walking me back to the room for my appointment she asked if I was all numb, and I told her no, I didn't know that I needed to put the cream on. She then proceeded to tell me that she was unable to treat me that day because you need to have the numbing cream and that it takes 30 minutes to set in and that she was completely booked for the rest of the day. She offered me $50 off and I rescheduled to come in that Saturday. For my Saturday appointment I was told to arrive at 10:15 so I could apply the numbing cream and let it set in for 30 minutes and that my appointment was at 10:45. I arrived a little before 10:15, applied the cream and waited for my appointment. At 10:45 no one came to get me or to let me know they were running behind, it was not until 11:30 (45 minutes after my scheduled appointment time) that the PA finally came to get me. I went into the room to begin treatment and the PA looked at the area and said she could not treatment because I had not shaved. I told her no one ever instructed me to shave (not when I called and not when I was there 2 days before and was unable to be treated). She handed me a razor and told me I could quickly shave right there and then she could begin treatment. I then had to drive shave a very delicate area and it was very unpleasant. Overall, my visit was very unpleasant, from never being given any information on how to prep for my treatment to then returning to try again and having to wait nearly a hour past my appointment on a Saturday. I did not enjoy my experience at Epi Center MedSpa and I am now looking for somewhere else to have my laser treatments.
