My first visit was very good and booked in advance with the master stylist. Unfortunately, at my next visit the stylist apparently never showed up that day and no one called to inform me and provide me with the option of either rescheduling or keeping my appointment but with another stylist. I will give them the benefit of the doubt that I may have been his first client of the day (at 4:00 p.m. though) and that is why. However, my suspicion is the stylist ended up taking the day off and thought the staff would call me to reschedule. Needless to say I was very frustrated and 15 minutes had already passed. I had to be the one to inquire as to where the stylist was, which the staff were very confused as to what happened.
I was then seen by an advanced stylist who was very empathetic and wanted to be sure I was taken care of but understood if I wanted to reschedule. She did a good job but the color was off a little and the cut not quite right; however, I completely understand as I was new to her and can take a couple of times for a stylist to get it just the way you like your hair. Not bad just need some refinement.
The rating would have been lower had they not had someone available as I had made arrangements for my appointment. They gave me a free botanical treatment for their misstake, but they really should have discounted my service because it also resulted in taking far longer as they didn't start on time. A client's time is just as important, if not more so, than a stylist. Clients expect the stylist not to be running so far behind schedule, and most importantly we expect the stylist to be there and if they cannot, then call the client immediately.
I will go back; however, I will be more skeptical of their scheduling. I love Avada products and their cutting techniques.
