First time there and the dentist seemed helpful, however, no one reviewed the cost of any procedures before taking action. This is a common practice within the industry that can be interpreted as unscrupulous. Ideally, patients should be adequately informed and agree to the cost of any procedures being recommended before moving forward. Also, when I paid after the services, I was charged a hefty amount and not provided an itemized receipt to allow me to understand what resulted in such a large expense. I contacted the office later in the same day and they discovered there was a billing error. They politely and immediately adjusted the error, but it is unsettling nonetheless that I had to point out the billing issue myself. Again, I’ll be back and I will trust in the doctor and his team, but I will be more cautious to ask about the cost of all services before agreeing to proceed. Financial transparency is a vital part of a doctor/patient relationship. Thanks.
