Cedar Hill Eye Care is a beautiful building and the atmosphere is friendly enough. It was our first time there and definitely the first time I've ever witnessed front desk personnel ask a CHILD to REMOVE contact lenses because they had not included the lenses fitting fee in the BILL as if it were my daughter's fault. The fact that the front desk clerks had my child to remove the contact lenses FROM HER EYES after THE DOCTOR had put them in was far less than professional and certainly not compassionate in my opinion. I am very aware of protocol as well as understand how insurance works with regard to costs. But to take my daughter to the back and have her to LITERALLY REMOVE the lenses should never be an option. This action certainly showed me that putting the health of someone's eyes takes a distant 2nd place to money, insurance and miscommunication. The fact that the front desk and the dr were not on the same page was not my fault and certainly was not the fault of my child who was quite baffled at the fact that they did that. Having said that, I won't be returning to Cedar Hill Eye Care.
