I had a mostly good experience, especially the thorough and professional eye exam. I took off one star because they sold the glasses frames I picked out to buy and indicated at my previous visit, to someone else. What the ???!? Very disappointing.
Dr. Hua and her staff were professional and courteous, but I felt slightly rushed through the process. I understand the need to attend to other clients, but who wants to feel like a number? Also, I discovered that the staff had made TWO errors with my personal contact data, hence no communication from Dr. Hua's staff was possible before my first visit. I had to call to confirm my 1st appointment. But yes, I will probably return next year...if it's remains convenient to do so.
The people who work here are very friendly, professional, experienced, and knowledgeable. I never have to wait very long to be seen, and they are also very prompt about ordering me new frames and lenses. Their downtown location is very convenient, and they have an excellent selection of frames at many different price levels.
Doctors have always been nice and professional. The receptionist was courteous. The person who does the bills is way too direct for me. She is almost offensive but in a courteous way. No charm whatsoever, though she always wears awesome frames.
I go here only because I work a block away and it accepts my insurance. The insurance lady is a complete drag.
I absolutely love Columbia Vision center. Every single staff member I have encountered has been welcoming and helpful- literally, from the scheduling assistant to the glasses fitting associates- all have been just wonderful. The office is clean and arranged well. They also have an unmatched selection of glasses- even sunglasses. I have been able to get appointments as soon as the same week, which is great if you are busy like me.
