Dr. Flores was amazing. She did a really great job on my teeth and was really nice to talk to.
The reason for the low rating was the receptionist and waiting time. I had come in for a routine check up but had to wait about 1.5 hours (from my appointment time, I had reached earlier to avoid this) just to get called back for the x-rays to be taken. Took a further 30 min for Dr. Flores to get to me.
She is the only dentist working at this location and they tend to overbook the number of patients. The receptionist was also extremely rude. Dr. Flores is better than this place and should move to a dentistry suiting her qualifications.
Dear Anonymous, I apologize sincerely for your inconvenience at your appointment. I assure you that we strive to excede your expectations. We have been a little short handed and that is no excuse. Our hope is that you will give us another chance to better your experience with us.
I took my daughter in to see about a tooth that had broken, and once we were taken back, our experience was fine. But we had to wait an hour past our appointment time, and we arrived about fifteen minutes early. No one said anything to me as we sat there while people walked in, signed in, and got called back, so after a full hour, I got up and asked when we could expect to be called. I was told repeatedly that "a lot of emergencies" had come in. I understand that emergencies happen, but if any of the six or seven people who sat calmly in the waiting room with me were the emergencies, they didn't look like they were in any worse shape than my daughter. It seems that someone who made an appointment should at least get equal consideration as someone who walks in with an "emergency." I could have claimed my daughter's broken tooth to be an emergency, but when I called to see when she could get in, the receptionist told me that we could come in as a walk-in but we would have to wait indefinitely because people with appointments are seen first. That made sense to me, so I made an appointment; but that is apparently not what is done in practice. At the very least, I would have appreciated someone telling me why it was taking so long and letting me know about how much longer I would have to wait.
I hate going to dentist...I stress out and panic....But my experience at this office was absolutely wonderful. Best dental visit I have ever had...staff was so nice. Dentist was wonderful, and financial department was very kind. Great rates and great staff. Highly recommend them.
