The wait time is so long to be seen. The staff are polite and it's very clean. I would have given them five stars, but the wait time is long. I went for a consultation. I waited 20mins before getting called back to get an x-ray and another 15mins for the doctor to come in to greet me. After my consultation, I was left in the room almost 30 mins before the receptionist provided me with my paper work for work I need. My whole visit without any work done was almost an hour and 30mins.
Overall my experience was okay. I had 3 wisdom teeth pulled and i was so nervous at first. I sat in that chair and last thing i remembered was having a needle injected in my arm. When i woke up it was all over. The staff took really good care of me after that.
After the procedure i had no pain and no swelling. The only discomfort was a burning sensation in my left nostril which i hope will go away after a few days. I was told to finish the medication and if it continues come in to check it out. My guess is it's my sinus but i really hope it passes.
My only complaint is the staff was a bit slow in the morning getting everyone set up. I called a week in advance about my x-ray, which i did at the Katy office in December. I asked for the x-ray to be transferred to the Missouri office and the day of the appointment it still wasn't transferred. Also, my appointment was at 9am, i was told to come in at 8:45am which i did but began the procedure at 10am.
Staff is nice but I don't like the smoke and mirrors with adding on billable services and then pressuring to do additional work. On this recent visit I asked if xrays were covered by my insurance and didn't get a solid confirmation. They did not take any, however I found out later from my insurance that they would have been covered. The cleaning technician added flouride and I was billed $12. When I called my insurance, it is supposed to be covered... I am returning for a refund today.
