My dog was in need of emergency surgery. Being a Sunday we were not able to have him seen with his regular vet. We went to Town & Country after seeing it was open and were accommodated very quickly. Dr. Slaughter saw my dog and was nothing short of excellent. You can tell she has a passion for what she does and really cares for animals. The staff at the front desk and the vet tech were also very caring and kind. I would have no hesitation bringing him back.
The only negative is that there is never enough help at the front desk to check you out after your visit. Between the telephone calls and new arrivals, it can take 10-15 minutes or longer, for the office staff to total your bill, and this is after the technician places your folder with the doctor's notes on the desk. When I have telephoned for an appointment, I have been on hold as long as 5-7 minutes waiting for the receptionist to get back to me. They just need more help and more efficient help checking out patients after the visit. Perhaps, there should be someone just dedicated to the phone to schedule appointments and a couple of people to total your bill and check you out after the visit.
First of all my appointment was at 11:30, didn't get called in till passed 12:00..then sat in the room for 45 minutes while they took my dog to the back. Apparently the vet "examines" your pet back there while you wait in the room?? So I only saw the vet a whole 2 minutes while she gave my dog the shots. They were charging me for something they didn't do & when I got home, looked closely over my bill, still got charged for something I didn't get! Over priced & terrible service!! Will not return here!!!!
