I was referred to A+ by a friend, so I was prepared for a good experience, but the staff exceeded my expectations. Justin is probably the most friendly person I've ever spoken with, and was fantastic about communicating with me throughout the process. They were able to fit me in immediately, the repairs were completed quickly, and the price was absolutely fair. After such a great experience, I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else, and have spread the word to several friends!

Excellent service always. Customer service is always attentive and any work to be done on car is fully explained. Invoices and work orders provided are details so you know exactly what was done with your car. Recommendations for work to be done is also accompanied by pictures so you know what the issue(s) might be. I highly recommend A+ Japanese Auto Repair!!

I have a manual Miata and got my car serviced, new brakes and various fluids changed. Now when the car is cold, gears get extremely tight and sometimes get totally stuck. Once or twice it has been a safety hazard. I took it back to them once but they couldn't really diagnose the problem. I left the car overnight and they said it was all fine in the morning, when even I face the problem every morning. Never going there again. I would recommend any Miata owners to not go there.

If you are seeking a great service center for a Japanese make car I would highly recommend A+ Japanese Auto. I worked with service manager Naeem to get my 2007 Prius Gen ll running after Big O Tire botched a simple tire installation causing my whole dashboard to light up from the dreaded check engine, tire pressure warning light, etc, etc. They did this by running a scan on my car to check for error codes to justify recommending further work to be done on the vehicle (which in and of itself is illegal, they cannot perform unauthorized work on a vehicle). Back to A+ Japanese Auto. Working closely with Naeem they were able to get my Prius up and running and set me up with a maintenance plan that did not bankrupt me, while also ensuring that my car was being maintained and serviced per manufacturers recommendations. One very satisfied customer!

I couldn't have been happier with the service I received at A+. From the time i made my appointment to the time when I picked the car up the staff could not have been more professional. They were kind, prompt, efficient and took every measure to make sure my car was taken care of. I would highly recommend A+ auto to anyone!

I dealt with Naem during my 1st visit to their shop. Friendly staff and efficient process. Reviews for this shop is amazing, and I feel that they are well deserved. Unfortunately, they didn't resolve my issue so I may just be the exception. $95 diagnostic sounds reasonable, but for the work they did to my '94 Miata, I felt it was steep. I had 2 issues (typed and bullet-pointed for their convenience) that I wanted looked into. 1st was a squealing I heard from my transmission during morning warm-up, when I engage the clutch pedal and when I put into gear. the 2nd was a buzzing sound I would hear while driving when reaching 3100RPM. they resolved the 2nd issue just by taking out the exhaust shield (now just a mild barely noticeable hum at 3100RPM). The 1st issue (the MORE concerning one) could not be replicated, so nothing could be done.

When i picked up my car after shop hours, the squealing was still there. Problem was NOT resolved. Logistics are difficult and an inconvenience when having to drop your car off at a shop. They do a great job at accommodating (i.e. shuttles, rental option, after hour drop off box, etc) But because it was an observed holiday, it felt like they were just really booked and looking to quickly fix a problem and get my car out of the shop.

There isn't too much to gripe about I guess, my car still runs. It doesn't appear to be a major mechanical issue YET. But if an odd sounds comes from your car, you would like some answers as to a cause. It's not my imagination. In any case, I may bring my car back in the future simply for their efficiency (shuttle, after hour drop off, etc), but not sure since my issue wasn't solved when I brought it to them the first time. Again, they are accommodating and suggested I bring the car back at 8am and test ride with them, but as I mentioned logistics and time is a problem. I left a voicemail requesting a weekend schedule or maybe after 5pm....no response. Oh well...On the bright side, they replaced my license plate light bulbs for free.
