My first time at Poseidon. The experience was not memorable and when my girlfriends asked, I told them I would not recommend the spa. The massage room did not have a particular aroma of eucalyptus or lavender - nothing inviting. I was not given a robe. The sheets did not smell fresh at all. The smell of the sheets made me contemplate whether someone else had been serviced without the sheets being washed. The person who performed the service did a good enough job, but there was no rapport. There was no communication about what the massage does or the type of massage or even a request as to if I wanted stronger or lighter. When it was time for my face mask, she did not wipe off my face before applying the mask so my mask went on top of foundation, sunscreen, and moisturizer, which was just weird to me. I will likely return to the Ritz even though I wanted to support Poseidon.Read More …
