Quick Service. Reminded me I could use coupons. I forgot. But when the Service manager reminded me, I found one in my wallet and used it.

Scheduled an appointment for oil change and was in and out within 30 min.

My Ford Explorer didn't pass inspection, due to a defective rack and pinion system. AAA gave me a fair estimate, and I approved the work to repair it. They called later to tell me that the repair would be less than the estimate, and suggested some brake work that would be cheaper to do than normal. Repair worked out great, and earlier than expected!

They got me in earlier than my appointment time. The job was done right and a good value for the money.

I walked in without an appointment and asked for a transmission flush. Was in and out within about 1 hour. I was happy with the service.

Being a single mom with two a cars and full time job, I usually do not get time to take my cars to the mechanic, but with AAA I can just drop my car in the morning, go to work and pick it up after work. Their shuttle services is as an excellent thing ever! I would recommend it to all single moms out there.

AAA found a drain on my battery, but couldn't identify it, so they sent me to an Auto Electrician, who said the problem was the battery. AAA did honor my warranty and replaced it at no charge, but I still had to pay the Auto Electrician. AAA says there is still a drain and it will happen again...doesn't matter who's right. But it cost me $125. :(

AAA charged me over $800 to repair my car and it runs worse now. My car was hesitating when accelerating. AAA put in new spark plus and cleaned my fuel injection system (which my son, BA honors graduate in mechanical engineering, told me I didn't need.). Then somehow my starter stopped working while AAA had my car! A $300 fee to replace it! I picked up the car and called back to say it stalled on the freeway and I thought I would have to call for a toll. The service person said it must be a transmission issue -- which I finally figured they couldn't handle. They never told me that. I took the car to a legitimate mechanic who said it was an exhaust problem. Because I was treated so badly by AAA, he only charge me $90. My car runs great now. AAA Durham is a totally rip-off. I plan to report them to the Better Business Bureau and the NC Atty. General's office. Don't ever use them!!!!!
