Well, I brought my van in for a scheduled diagnostic, tune up, and to fix rough idling on my Ford van on a Tuesday. I called at the end of the day to find out what was happening and was told they were still working on it and that they would call me back. Towards the end of Wednesday, no call so I called and was told they were still working on it and that they would call me back. I called at 2pm on Thursday after getting no call and was told it would be ready that afternoon. I had to work that night so I had to have them hold it until Friday afternoon. When I got there to pick it up, I was given the total of $1130 and told that it was still idling rough and would "eventually" need a new idle control module. When I drove home, it was exactly the same as when I left it, sputtering and shutting off at stop lights and the check engine light was still on. I can't be sure if they even touched it other than prying open my electric window that doesn't work and was clearly taped closed in a way that makes it obvious it doesn't work. The engine runs exactly the same and I still have the service engine light on, not sure what the $1130 went to, but I feel ripped off. I will be coming back on Monday to find out what the issue is.
