I’m grateful to have a mechanic shop who are very honest, knowledgeable, very helpful and affordable! I was so stressed out and frustrated because I was having trouble with my transmission but AASTRO was able to ease my mind because they were explaining to me what was going on with my car and what they will do to make sure the problem is fixed where it doesn’t drain my bank account.

Transmission problems with our 2014 Nissan Sentra seemed inevitable and as such, AASTRO was kind enough to 'take a look'. After dropping the engine and disassembling our transmission, I was told it was certainly defective and that a re-built tranny could be put in although, AASTRO didn't have immediate access to said tranny however, it will cost over $2,000.00. I instructed AASTRO to assemble all disassembled tranny parts and we will have car towed to Thoroughbred Nissan. Once at Thoroughbred we learned that, Nissan is replacing 'at no cost', the transmissions on various years of which, our's qualifies for replacement. AASTRO never informed me of this industry-wide information. As is, my wife and I are only out $684.00, to find out that we did indeed have a transmission problem.

Aastro Transmission and Auto Repair saved the day for us! The transmission went out on our 2000 Ford Excursion on our way to Mexico. We had the car towed to Aastro to be worked on while we were in Mexico. When we returned to the states they had a new transmission installed. We drove the car from Tucson to our home in Black Hawk, Colorado (over 1000 miles). The car ran as it should and got us home safe and sound. A huge thank you to everyone at Aastro Transmission - from Gloria who went the extra mile on our behalf, Isabel who sent us emails keeping us informed as work progressed and the wonderful mechanics who did a great job!

So far so good. I haven't found any issues with the repairs I went for (electrical repair). Brad is a great guy, easy to talk to most of the time. The only thing I'd hope they would've done differently is to communicate woth me more often in regards to the progress of the repair.
