"Do unto others as you would have them do unto you"has been a motto of mine since I was a child. In the service industry a person has the opportunity to live that phrase out on a regular basis. Transforming or renovating a person's home in even a simple repair is very rewarding. It is an extreme privilege to be invited in one's home. The relationship gained by conducting good business and supplying the customer with a finished product that knocks their socks off is exciting. Each time you enter a person's home you are embarking on their personal life, their safe zone. Most homeowners will value a professional experience and a job well done enough to ask that same person backthis is the ultimate compliment.

Teaming up with home repair and remodeling professionals with the same passion to satisfy a customer's needs is also gratifying. My dad used to say "you shouldn't do business with friends, but you can make some great friends from people who do good business."
