Our approach is simple. We believe that health is amongst our most valuable possessions. And while we generally meet people after they've lost their health, our commitment is two-fold.
1. Relief Care in Victoria
Many people seek care in our practice and have one goal: relief. So that's where we start! During this initial stage of intensive care, we have several obligations:
Uncover the underlying cause of the health problem
Suggest a care plan to produce the fastest results possible
Offer ways patients can participate in their recovery
Explain the value of post-symptomatic wellness care
Some patients after going through a short phase of relief care, choose to stay on a maintenance schedule to 'maintain' their current pain free feeling and not to digress back to the condition they were in when they first sought our help. For each patient, this maintenance care can vary from once a month or sometimes to even once a week. Ultimately though, it's your choice if you want to stay for maintenance care or just come back when the pain returns.
2. Wellness Care in Victoria
We encourage our patients to achieve the highest levels of health they can. Through educational opportunities (like this website), we hope to communicate the value of ongoing chiropractic care. Our desire is to see our practice members abandon the prevailing sickness care model of health (waiting for symptoms and then taking action), in favor of the emerging wellness model.
With Correction, we work with you to change and remold your spine to ensure that it is as 'structurally sound' as it can be. This kind of corrective process helps your spine and you not only feel better short-term, but also aids in the health of your spine long-term. Once correction is finished, you will graduate to Wellness Care, where we work on maintaining your well and corrected spine.

I wish more of a consult could be done before our routine adjustment. I feel the same quick adjustment happens every time. Maybe she can tell that quickly what is out, but sometimes more needs looked at or felt before adjustment. I used to see two other chiropractors that would rub my lower back then lift my feet to measure the difference and see where I was off and that never happens. ??

I am sorry that you had this experience. We strive to make sure all our new patients have an hour long first appointment available to them, as well as an hour long appointment for their second visit for an official report of findings where we go through treatment plan options, insurance, etc.
As this post is anonymous, it's hard for me to speak to why this wasn't what happened for you. However, the timing of this post seems that it was during my (Dr. Becky's) maternity leave, as well as during a time when another local chiropractor was taking time off to be with her child who needed extensive medical care. During that time, we tried our best to accommodate patients with our limited hours because of maternity leave, as well as accommodate those patients of the other chiropractor by not making them go through an extensive first and second visit appointments, as they would all be returning to the other chiropractor when she returned 6 weeks later. Unfortunately, all of this fell into the same time period. Also, occasionally due to our schedule and a new patients schedule, the time has to be modified in order to get patients in as quickly as possible. However, we strive to still make sure our patients always get taken care of.
In hopes to help you better, I would urge you to contact our office and allow me (Dr. Becky) to give you a no charge consult and new patient work up, the way that is our standard here. We, as an office, have taken your review and trained on ways to accommodate patients, but still keeping our standards high in order to serve our patients needs and wants. Thank you for taking the time to review us and we hope that we have the opportunity for you to review us again in the near future.
