ACA Automotive not only fixed my starter problem they also did it in a short amount of time. I wasn't without my car for very long. They were also very friendly and customer oriented.

This was not the best service experience, where usually I have been very impressed with the staff. I dropped the car off first thing in the morning. While dropping off, I asked about tire rotation and tire alignment services. The technician said that I will definitely need tire rotation and alignment, because those services are always needed and considered routine every year and it had been well over a year since I had either done. I mentioned that I wasn't certain of the quality of the tires so I didn't know if paying for alignment now would be worthwhile - in case I would need new tires quite soon. But, that I would probably want the rotation. The advisor made note and said he would check the quality of the tires and let me know.

I called 3 hours later to check on things, and was told that someone still needed to check the car out. I got a call 3 minutes later saying everything was done, and I could pick up the car. I asked about the tires, and that advisor said everything was "OK."

So, I am wondering, why did the first guy say that those services would absolutely (no doubt about it) be required, and then a few hours later I am told it's all "good to go." Are rotations really advised every year (or 5,000) miles. Because as I established when dropping off, it had certainly been that long and that many miles.

Or, did they just not really check the tires and just tell me it's OK because they had already finished the oil change.

I have otherwise been pleased with the service of ACA in the past, and I suspect I will continue to take my car there, if nothing else for continuity of the record keeping.

I love coming to ACA because they always make everything so easy and are so friendly. I knew that I could drop off my car with ease to have it looked at and be out of there in no time. I especially appreciate their close relationship with the enterprise Rent-A-Car down the street which just makes getting a rental car all the more convenient. Things I did not like about my experience this time were that my car came back rather dirty with greasy handprints on the back of the car that needed to be removed on the windows and on the trunk part of the front rubber on my car was now dragging which was not there when it was brought in nor a part of the problem it was being seen for and had to be fixed before I left also the back of my key fob was missing and had to be located before I could leave. Also I called to check on the status because I hadn’t heard anything and was told that they had left me a message which I never received.

Engine splash shield came loose and made horrible noises halfway down the I-5. Called up these guys Saturday morning at 8am - Frankie has me come in and these guys take care of the problem ASAP knowing I am down here on vacation, even though at 830am the entire lot is already full with customers. You could tell they got everyone in and got the job done and I was in and out of there within the hour as he promised and headed back to my kids at the hotel. I feel like most places I would be waiting the entire day or they wouldn't have taken me in without some pre-existing appointment. I understand this is potentially a quick fix and fast cash, but the fact that they got me in STAT is something to write home about.

I don't trust any other auto repair shop in Long Beach! The service here from the reception area to the payment window is exceptional! I have never had to return my car after service because "something still is not right."
