Upon my arrival, I was pleasantly welcomed and offered coffee (I chose Hazelnut with French Vanilla cream.) My hairdresser, Precia, was promptly ready (no waiting), she worked confidently and kept a great balance with time. I appreciated that, because she did a lovely thorough job in one hour’s time (wash, cut, & style blowout). She started out by talking with me about my hair and my wishes for the look I want. She was very insightful, encouraging, and most helpful! Then, she had me breathe in Peppermint/Blueberry oil by me rubbing it first into the palms of my hands. After that, Precia gave me this fabulous scalp message, followed up with washing my hair. Then, the most wonderful thing, she wrapped a nice warm towel around my ears & head and let me relax at the sink while she slipped out just for a minute or so. I felt so pampered, as I enjoyed this oh-so-wonderful warm towel, music, and dim light. As she worked on my hair, you could tell her hands knew precisely what they were doing, it felt like she was a hair artist, and sure enough, I felt beautiful and complete when I stepped out to face the world. Yay, I have found someone who knows how to do hair, and the neat thing is that the other ladies there also appear to be excellent hairstylists, so if one is booked up, there will be choices for those last-minute appointments. One thing that caused me to choose this salon is the fact that they have a thorough website that allows the customer to actually see the stylists, read about them, and choose from there! Hats off to Accents Salon, because I spent half a morning looking at several salon websites, and Accents had stylists who were stylish, groomed, together, “with-it”, whatever you want to call it! (I mean, after all, don’t we all want to look our best when we walk out!) Chears!
