Patty: I am sorry you feel this way. The fact is, it just doesn't pay to carry a customer's bill on a books from month to month. Because you had been a long standing customer, until recently, we agreed to allow 1/2 at time of the work and 1/2 in 30 days. Because of your pay day, we also agreed to hold your first check until after the 15th (something we can not do normally).

Because of the time day and convoluted nature of the call, to get approval, and arrange the two payments, it was assumed you knew the car would not be finished. I apologize for allowing that assumption. Until just now we had no idea it was a problem. No one called.

I wish there were a good answer to this complaint. We have offered to allow them to apply the certificate to another vehicle they own, which does not require synthetic oil. This, though it clearly states that the certificate is good for one vehicle only.

Except for specials, one of which we will be offering this week, everyone is over $95. Ace's price includes all taxes & fees

Gerre: I am sorry you feel as you do. I did check and no work was done without prior approval. Indeed, your A/C compressor was broken and it did take two days to get a factory replacement (your car is still a bit new to get quality aftermarket parts from the OEM).

Because your alternator was not making noise, when not under load (something anyone can easily verify for you), we could not immediately determine it was your problem. Certainly, the shaft to your A/C compressor was broken.

If you find an alternator cheaper, we will install it at no charge, but with no warranty. We prefer to use OEM parts when ever possible.
