My dentist is wonderful! But trying to get someone on the phone there is terrible. I have called several times during office hours (and not during lunch hours) to schedule/cancel appointments. I always seem to get an answering machine that says you are closed and doesn't allow you to leave a message. I called one time at around 10:30 am to reschedule my appt. that day and got a message stating you were in a class until 9:00 am. Since it was clearly after 9:00 am, I took it that the office was closed until the next day. I then thought I had my appointment day and time wrong. Marie called me later in the day asking if I forgot about my appt. that day. I explained to her that I had tried to call and what the voice mail said. I've even left a message via the "contact us" option on your web page. I never hear anything back from anyone.
Another thing that needs looked into is your insurance filing/collections. I have never gotten a bill from your office, but it seems like every time I go in for an appointment I'm asked to pay a past due bill. The last time I came in, I paid over $100 out of pocket because the year before I had accidentally given your office the wrong insurance card. If I had known sooner that the insurance card wasn't right, I would have handled that much quicker and felt comfortable with asking for it to be refiled. My husband received a bill for the one time he went to you for a cleaning. He called and asked if they could mail him a detail statement so he could compare it to his Dental EOB, but we never received anything. We have no idea if that bill has been paid or not at this point. It should have a zero balance because it was for just a cleaning, which he gets 2 a year without any co-pay.
As far as my dentist....I am super, super happy with his services and the services of the Dental Hygienists we have had. I trust them 100%.
