i understand that there were covid precautions in place, but that doesn't excuse not communicating what was being done to my dog. i came for a second opinion. they took her to the back and when it was all over i had a $240 bill. an in-house cytology was done. if i had been given the option, i would have not done it, because two cytology's were done in the past two weeks. the records were forwarded to agoura animal clinic from my regular veterinarian, so they had a record of it. i did not want to put my girl through that again. i just wanted a second opinion. i feel that that could have been done with the information provided.
to add insult to injury, i had to go and get her from a cage in the back. they could have just brought her to me once they were finished examining her, because apparently getting her from a cage was much too difficult. she's shy but very sweet and have never had an issue at an animal hospital. needless to say, i was disappointed with agoura animal clinic.
