The staff was very kind, however I was disappointed that there was no desire to find out why my dog was so sick. All they did were basic tests that came back inconclusive and sent us on our way with meds that they just hope will work.

I brought my cat to the office on 8/26/24 and explained the symptoms he was having of constantly being in the litter box straining to pee/poop. I thought it was constipation and explained that I had already started water and pumpkin in his diet and that he was peeing very small amount each time if any. While there, they did X-Rays which showed on a moderate amount of poop which was nothing to be concerned about (Per the Vet) and his blood work was "impeccable" in the doctor's terms. He was given an enema which he never actually used the bathroom while there and was sent home. The doctor never checked for other causes or did a urinalysis sample after I said he kept squatting and going to the litter box with minimal pee coming out. This cost close to $600. The next day my cat was a lot worse and I got him into his regular vet which they found he has a bladder and unitary tract infection. This could have been diagnosed at your office but it wasn't due to the vet not properly assessing the symptoms and especially after not finding that he was actually constipated. I am very dissatisfied and feel like all of the tests run were for money and that they did not do a proper work up of my cat to diagnose him, which lead to more vet bills and most of all for him to suffer through an enema and over night pain until he was properly diagnosed.

They let my dog sit in a cold kennel alone for hours without administering meds apr fluids as equested
After hours of waiting and wondering what was happening a guy that behaved as if he’d just smoked crack came in to imitate the micro machines guy and talk really fast and loud. He was rude and over the top. It was over all a terrible experience. I left and took my baby elsewhere
And sick- they’ll let your animal die before they work with you to save it. They are strictly a corporate cash machine and only there for their bottom line, not to actually help animals. Terrible people and an awful experience. Absolutely do NOT recommend.

i always feel like the staff at After Hours take great care of my fur babies. They took the time to explain everything well and worked with us to find the best options to diagnose and treat while considering that my finances are extremely tight right now. If we have an urgent situation with our pets we will always try to come here even though its a bit of a drive.
