My regular stylist has left the salon so was rescheduled for my appointment. I would have thought with someone of equal experience and qualities. However instead, I waited over 15 minutes past my scheduled time, which for me this was not a big deal, but Jocelyn was so rushed with me, I suppose to try to catch up on time, that for not ever have seen this person ever before, she had no time for conversation about why I was there, and did exactly what was written on the card she had on me, which felt like she was just getting the job done.
I was then scheduled with a new stylist for a hair cut, which consists of trimming the ends of my hair. She asked if prefer a blowout or my usual curly bob, I opted for the latter. Samantha then puts me under a hair dryer for 5 minutes and that was it. Voila, I was ready to leave with still pretty wet hair flattened to my head as if I had just stepped out of my shower at home not like the renewed person with awesome looking hair as I was used to.
I think there is definitely some internal problems here happening, so many of the regular stylists have left this salon and are not being replaced with the same talent it once had. I truly have a different opinion now based on my latest experience and will consider other options if this continues to be the level of service, below par.
By the way the front desk staff is still awesome, they knew I was not happy with the service and insisted on me having it fixed before I left. Again that was with the first stylist whom was rushing to begin with. It did look somewhat better.
