I love Dr. Duprey! Excellent Vet who takes time with you and your pet. However, my experience with "some" of the staff at both locations have left me too many times irritated, due to the way they speak to you, and how they leave you, sometimes forever, in the rooms. I understand about waiting on a Vet that takes personal care with each patient, but leaving you in the room with your pet after the visit for 30 minutes to an hour waiting on an Rx. I understand about computer problems, but call it in for me and let me know what is going on at the time, not after the issue has been resolved. I spent a big chunk of my Saturday there, along with cleaning up pee because my pet couldn't hold it. Also, within the last year, I needed a renewal of heartworm medicine, and their records showed that I was over the 6 month date, and yet I saw the Vet 4 months earlier for a wellness visit. I get the questions, but to say that I needed to come in and sign a form stating that I didn't let the medicine laps? After coming in upset, the heartworm form was not to get my hand slapped by the Principal (Receptionist), but to state that I understand that if my pet was not on the medicine, that the medicine would not treat heartworms. Ok, I get it, but the above incorrect statement with attitude was unacceptable. After the last visit, our family has decided to find another Vet.

Very friendly and careful with the needs of your pet.

My husband and I have been taking our dogs and cats to Alafaya Trail Animal Hospital since 1993, well before the practice was bought by Dr. Duprey. From Day One, we have been extremely happy with the veterinary care, attention to detail and level of professionalism of Dr. Duprey, Dr. Lannes and all the staff. We wouldn't consider going anywhere else.

We've been taking our dog Ash here for several years. The entire staff have always been wonderful. Ash was a shelter dog, and has trust issues with people, but the Dr.'s and staff are always patient and extremely caring. Ash also had skin issues for years, and Dr. Lannes was the only one to find the cause of the problem and get him relief.
