I can't remember her name , but the tech that worked on me was excellent!! And then she handles the front desk also.

My visit was a same day appointment and she took care of my situation, thank you. Pene

Positive points

I was able to get an appointment calling the day before and the dentist did a fantastic job of explaining the process and had great communication during and was greatly concerned about my comfort level replaced one filling and smoothed out another filling I had done years ago

The assistant was very nice and had great communication.

Somewhat negatives

I was scheduled for 2pm and received a text message to confirm my appointment after 8am stating that my appointment time was 10:50am

I live an hour away

I had to scramble to get myself and other things in order and called the office to confirm what time they expected me

The assistant who answered the call was very apologetic about the mix-up

I was able to arrange getting there on time for the appointment and it was a pleasure having the work done so quickly

Fast cleaning visit, she was able to clean and get the procedure over quickly, under an hour. Nice. Teeth feel clean and smooth. :)

I feel my hygienist did a very good job. Dr. Johnson is a very good dentist. Office is friendly.

Things did not go well after my cleaning. Within an hour after my cleaning I could feel the onset of the symptoms of an infection, increasing temperature and chills. This was very alarming to me because I have artificial knees and infections in man made joints are extremely difficult to cure. I went to urgent care and they were right on it. They drew two blood cultures to identify the infection and prescribed antibiotics until the cultures could be grown and identified.

The rest of the story is that I have been advised to take a broad spectrum antibiotic prior to dental work and I forgot to do it. I can't say for sure if the antibiotic would have prevented the infection. However, I will minimize my exposure in the future by minimizing my cleanings.
