We have always appreciated the way our dogs have been cared for with respect to their exams and the clinic rates 5 stars. However, my complaint is that the medication costs are considerably higher for a two week quantity versus a 4 week quantity. Standard "people" pharmacies are not able to over-charge customers for a lesser number of pills. If medications costs are too high at one pharmacy, we can opt to go to another. We cannot do that in this case. It feels unfair when we pay the cost of the check-up before we leave but then get over-charged for medicine. Being fair would go a long way in creating a warmer customer relationship and experience. If financials are that bad, raise the price of exams so we don't know when we're being over-charged. Additionally, paying an extra $8.00 to fill/refill any and every prescription is another method of taking advantage of a captive audience trying to be good stewards for their pets.
