About
Allure Hair Studio & Day Spa in Kailua is the realization of a dream. Swiss born Owner, Maja Whitesell, has worked her entire life in the beauty industry. She attended the College of Modern Art and Fashion in Zurich as well as the Vidal Sassoon school in London. She did her apprentice work at the prestigious Reolon Salon in Zurich and after finishing she got her masters in beauty business and education from the Robert Emi Beauty School.
After arriving in the Islands in 1995 to learn windsurfing, she fell in love with the people and the natural beauty of Hawaii. In 1997, she closed her successful salon in Switzerland and moved here for good. while working at some of the top salons in Honolulu, she always dreamed of opening her own spa. Allure is the culmination of a lifetime of dedication to beauty.
