Every time I leave Altered Ego my confidence skyrockets thanks to the wonderful job Terri does with my hair. Her extensive knowledge about hair extensions are her skills (as an experienced pro in the industry) are hard to come by. The result in a well applied and natural looking hairdo each and every time.

I started having Terri do my extraordinarily "difficult" baby fine, stick straight hair in the fall of 1986 when I was a freshman at ASU! She was the first one to ever bleach and color my hair and the only expert I have ever had success with learning my hair. I moved away for over 10 years, but when I returned in 1998 I was able to find her still working with the same owners. The location has changed a few times, but Altered Ego has always been a family owned and operated salon that prides itself on full service, without compromised integrity. Terri did my "Wedding hair" in 1999. She gave both my son's their 1st haircuts. When I lost my hair to Breast Cancer in 2017, I dropped by to ask what I could do to prepare my scalp for the best possible regrowth. I wasn't prepared for the hugs and support I received...but I should have been. In the year that my hair has been growing back, Terri and Tawni have been with me every step of the way. Terri has even been helping get the best possible look as I get ready to be polished abd professional for job interviews as I am healthy enough to re-enter the job force again. I just can't say enough about what a big part of my life these ladies have been!
