This is the first lash studio I found when I moved to Tempe, they had a great deal so I made an appointment to check it out. Upon my actual lash date, I was given a warm welcome and decided on the lash style of my choice. Midway towards the application of my lashes I felt some slight burning (I've had lash extensions before and never experienced this) although this was new, I know lash studios vary on the application they use, so I ignored it. Once finished, I opened my eyes and overall I was merely just "satisfied" (there was no 'wow' moment like my previous lash experiences), it was interesting that my technician herself was also not wearing any of the branding for me to reference once more before mine. Once I walked out of the room, there were many lash technicians behind the counter just staring at me. Other than asking questions myself about the referral program I was given no initial point of conversation as to how my experience was. My card was ran for the introductory price of $75 and I left a tip of $10 to my lash technician, at this point I was overwhelmed by the hostility of the girls still staring at me from behind the counter, and I knew this was somewhere I would not return. Later in the day I went to check my bank account to find out that my card was charged twice. I called in asking for a manager and was told she was gone for the day, but to leave my name and number and I would hear back. The next day, nothing, so the following third day I finally got ahold of a manager, I was then told that the double charge did not show their end and I would have to send a statement from my bank in. After all of this back and forth communication with the studio manager....a week later I was finally refunded for this second charge. I was given no additional bargain to make up for their mistake and therefore I would never recommend a studio with a hostile environment that might charge you twice to any of my lash loving girlfriends. Months later, I see this email sent to me about my experience...so there it is.
